The main design was developed thinking of birds, in particular those from the Passeriformes category and the family of the Hirundinidae. The Passeriformes are small quick songbirds such as the swallow, the blue jay or the sparrow.
The name given by the designer to the new car company is Passerine and the car model in development was named Golondrina (swallow bird in Spanish).
The first ideation process was mainly artistic and conceptual. Inspirations for the model was the swallow and its smooth lines along with its stylish flight and body shape.
The tail curve was implemented in C pillar. The tail represents the rear flow C pillar that joins with the rear wing and the swallow’s wings are represented on the rear air duct that also for the C pillar.
