The decision of making a 1:5 clay model had been made from early in the project and so the packaging drawings were elaborated already to the model scale (1:5). Chinese 2.5th%le female and USA 97.5th%le male manikins where used to guarantee a perfect fit for the user. Since many of the details of the car design process were not done by the designer (those involving the car parts layout or the interior positioning) very little was modified to the main structure.

Several changes were made throughout the modelling process. The first main change in regards the original packaging design is the front wheel arch. The arch is lowered along with the car
bonnet.

The second feature that was modified was the rear. An incorporated wing was added, the wheel arch was also lowered and a thinner finish was crated since the original look was too “heavy” to the eye.

Finally, the front grill, the front wheel air cooling intake, the front lights the rear light, the diffuser, the license plate space and the exhaust pipes were added.
